Cultivate values through small good habits.
We often talk to our children & loved ones about kindness, responsibility, and gratitude.
But values are not learned through lectures.
They grow through small actions repeated every day.
Saying thank you.
Helping to set the table.
Being kind.
Tiny actions.
Repeated consistently.
Over time, those small habits quietly become values.
This thought stayed with me for a long time.
And it eventually led us to build something small.
At hrtg.me, we have been exploring ways to help families capture and pass down values and life lessons across generations.
hashtag#LittleRoots is the first digital tool we created as part of that journey.
Little Roots is a gentle family ritual tool designed for parents with young children aged 3–7.
Parents create small care tasks such as:
Put away toys
Say thank you
Help set the table
Brush your teeth
Each completed task helps the family's tree grow.
Children begin to see how their small actions contribute to the home they live in.
But the most important part is this.
Little Roots is designed to be explored together.
Instead of handing the phone to the child, the parent sits beside them, shows them the tree, and celebrates the small moments together.
One small act at a time.
If you are a parent with young children, I would love for you to try it and share your thoughts.

Little Roots is our first step at hrtg.me.
We are exploring how technology can help families nurture values today and preserve meaningful memories for the future.
A small tool, but part of a much bigger vision.
