Things To Do With Your Kids in Singapore This Weekend (11-12 July 2026)

Looking for something fun to do with your children this Sunday?

Whether you have toddlers, preschoolers or primary school children, Singapore has plenty of family-friendly activities happening this weekend. From outdoor adventures to interactive museums, there are many opportunities to spend quality time together while creating memories that your children will cherish.

At HRTG, we believe that legacy isn't only about what we leave behind. It's also about the moments we create together today. Here are some of our favourite family activities happening on Sunday, 12 July 2026.

1. Visit the Orchid Extravaganza at Gardens by the Bay

If your family enjoys nature, this is one of the most beautiful places to visit this weekend.

The annual Orchid Extravaganza transforms the Flower Dome into a colourful floral paradise filled with thousands of orchids and stunning displays. Children will enjoy exploring the different flowers while parents can capture memorable family photos in one of Singapore's most iconic attractions.

Perfect for: Families with children of all ages, photography lovers and grandparents.

2. Cool Off at the Far East Organization Children's Garden

Singapore's weather can be warm, which makes the Children's Garden at Gardens by the Bay one of the best weekend destinations.

Children can enjoy water play, splash zones, climbing structures and playgrounds while parents relax nearby. Pack an extra set of clothes because most kids won't want to leave the water.

Recommended for: Ages 2 to 12.

3. Experience the Singapore Garden Festival

This weekend is one of the final opportunities to experience the Singapore Garden Festival before it concludes.

The festival features breathtaking floral installations, creative landscape displays and educational exhibits that introduce children to the beauty of plants and nature. It is a wonderful opportunity to inspire curiosity while enjoying a relaxing family outing.

4. Explore Curiosity Cove at Mandai Wildlife Reserve

For children who love animals and science, Curiosity Cove offers an engaging indoor experience filled with interactive exhibits and hands-on learning.

Kids are encouraged to touch, discover and explore while learning about wildlife conservation in an enjoyable environment.

This makes an excellent half-day trip before or after visiting one of Mandai's wildlife parks.

5. Spend the Morning at Children's Museum Singapore

The Children's Museum Singapore is designed especially for younger visitors.

Through interactive exhibitions, storytelling and educational activities, children can learn through play while developing their creativity and imagination.

Weekend sessions are often popular, so booking tickets in advance is recommended.

6. Join National Family Festival Activities

The National Family Festival continues across Singapore with a variety of family-focused events and community activities.

Depending on the location, families can enjoy games, performances, workshops and interactive experiences that encourage parents and children to spend meaningful time together.

Keep an eye on the official programme as different activities are organised throughout the island.

7. Enjoy Indoor Fun at Pororo Park

If the weather isn't ideal, Pororo Park at Marina Square remains one of Singapore's favourite indoor playgrounds.

With obstacle courses, play areas, train rides and live performances, it offers several hours of entertainment for younger children.

This is especially suitable for families with children below seven years old.

8. Rediscover Singapore's Playgrounds

Sometimes the best family outings are also the simplest.

Instead of planning a packed schedule, consider spending a relaxing afternoon at one of Singapore's iconic playgrounds.

Some favourites include:

  • Admiralty Park Playground

  • Toa Payoh Dragon Playground

  • Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

  • West Coast Park Adventure Playground

Bring a picnic mat, some snacks and simply enjoy spending uninterrupted time together.

Sometimes the Smallest Moments Become the Biggest Memories

Many parents believe children will remember expensive holidays or elaborate birthday celebrations.

In reality, they often remember the ordinary moments.

The Sunday morning walk.

Splashing each other at the water playground.

Sharing ice cream after visiting a museum.

Laughing together while taking silly family photos.

Years later, these are the memories that quietly become part of your family's story.

At HRTG, our mission is to help families preserve not only important milestones, but also the everyday moments that make life meaningful. Through technology, we're building a way for parents to safeguard their stories, voices and memories for generations to come.

Because the greatest legacy we leave behind isn't measured by what we own. It's measured by the memories we create together.

Breaking the Language Barrier to Understanding the Qur'an For many Muslims, learning to read the Holy Qur'an is an important part of growing up. But understanding it is often a different journey altogether. One of the biggest barriers is language. While millions of Muslims around the world can recite the Qur'an in Arabic, many do not fully understand the meaning behind the verses or know where to begin when searching for guidance on everyday questions. At hrtg, we asked ourselves a simple...

We are grateful that our co-founder, Rizky Budiyanto, recently had the opportunity to conduct a career sharing session at Eunoia Junior College as part of an educational programme organised by SEAmplified. During the session, Rizky shared about career opportunities in the media industry, navigating career transitions, and preparing for the AI era. But beyond the talk itself, it also became a meaningful opportunity for us to launch the MVP of one of hrtg's core features: Message to Your Future...

Grow your tree. 🌳 Cultivate values through small good habits. We often talk to our children & loved ones about kindness, responsibility, and gratitude. But values are not learned through lectures. They grow through small actions repeated every day. Saying thank you. Helping to set the table. Being kind. Tiny actions. Repeated consistently. Over time, those small habits quietly become values. This thought stayed with me for a long time. And it eventually led us to build something small. At ...
