Workshop at Euonia JC with SEAmplified

We are grateful that our co-founder, Rizky Budiyanto, recently had the opportunity to conduct a career sharing session at Eunoia Junior College as part of an educational programme organised by SEAmplified.

During the session, Rizky shared about career opportunities in the media industry, navigating career transitions, and preparing for the AI era.

But beyond the talk itself, it also became a meaningful opportunity for us to launch the MVP of one of hrtg's core features:

Message to Your Future Self.

Students were invited to upload a photo of themselves and write a message to their future selves about their current aspirations, goals, and dreams.

The system will then deliver that message back to them at a future date.

A small digital time capsule.

A reminder of who they were and what they hoped to become.

Out of 53 students present, 26 submitted their messages.

While the numbers may seem modest, we found it incredibly encouraging.

Because every submission represents a young person taking a moment to reflect on their future.

At hrtg, we believe that reflection is an important part of growth.

Sometimes writing down a goal makes it more real.

Sometimes receiving a message from your younger self years later can remind you how far you have come.

And sometimes it reminds you of the dreams that are still worth pursuing.

We believe Message to Your Future Self has the potential to become a meaningful tool for students, parents, mentors, and organisations looking to encourage goal-setting, reflection, and legacy building.

Thank you to Eunoia Junior College, SEAmplified, the teachers, and the students for giving us the opportunity to test and learn from this early version.

We are excited to continue building.

One line from PM Lawrence Wong’s National Day Rally stayed with us: “One of the greatest gifts we can give parents is more time with their children.” More time with our children matters. But so does what we do with that time. As parents, we document so much of our children’s lives. Their first day of school. Birthdays. Family holidays. Funny videos. Thousands of photos. But how often do we document ourselves for our children? What did we believe when they were four? What were we worried...

Happy National Day, Singapore! 🇸🇬❤️ As parents, we take thousands of photos of our children. Their first National Day. The playground they loved. The neighbourhood they grew up in. The food we always ate together. The little family traditions that felt completely ordinary at the time. But one day, these ordinary moments will become part of their history. Photos help us remember what happened. Stories help our loved ones understand what those moments meant. So this National Day, perhaps take...
